Privacy Policy: Kepler for Chrome
Last updated: 28 October 2026
This policy covers Kepler for Chrome, the browser extension. The Kepler apps for TVs and phones have their own policy.
In short
Kepler for Chrome has no account, no ads and no analytics. We do not receive your playlists, your logins or what you watch, and we do not sell data.
What the extension stores
- Your playlists and their logins (M3U links and files, Xtream server, username and password)
- Your favorites and the channels and links you played recently
- Your settings
These are kept only in your browser, on this computer. They are not sent to us and not synced to your other devices. Removing the extension deletes them.
What the extension sends, and to whom
- To the servers your links and playlists point to: the requests needed to load a playlist and play its streams. These servers are run by others, not by us.
- To Kepler on your own TV, only when you use Send to TV: the playlist you choose, including its login, over your local network.
Earlier versions
Versions before 2.0 sent anonymous usage statistics to Google Analytics, never the addresses of streams. Version 2.0 sends none.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
